Kavya Madhavan is a popular Malayalam cinema actress. . Though she normally does regular unimportant heroine roles, she has proved her ability in handling serious roles as well.
Early LifeKavya Madhavan belongs to the Saliya community who are traditionally engaged in weaving.Born in the village of Nileshwaram in Kasargod district, Kerala, India to P. Madhavan and Shyamala. She started to learn dance while studying in Nileswaram Rajas High School. She was the kalathilakam (A title bestowed to the artist who proves her skills in most artistic fields during a Sub District youth festival.) in Kasargod.

Career

Kavya entered the industry as a child artist in the film Pookkalam Varavayi (1991) doing the role of a School Girl. She came to public attention when she did the childhood part of the heroine character in Kamal's Azhakiya Ravanan (1996). Since then, she has acted in over 25 films in Malayalam and a few in Tamil. She is noted for having retained her rural Nileshwaram accent

Madhuri Dixit born May 15, 1967 is an Indian Bollywood actress She is a native of Mumbai, India. Throughout the late 1980s and the 1990s, she dominated Hindi cinema, appearing in many hit films.Her first major role was in Tezaab (1988). She starred in the popular films Dil (1990), Beta (1992), and Khal Nayak (1993). Her best known role may be as Nisha in the super-hit Hum Aapke Hain Kaun! (1994). She also appeared in the successful Dil To Pagal Hai (1997). For several years, she was the most popular and powerful actress of Bollywood, known for her acting, beauty and accomplished, sensuous dancing.Dixit continues to act, although her career has slowed somewhat since her marriage. Madhuri now splits her time between Mumbai and Denver. She married a Denver physician, Dr. Sriram Nene, in 1999. She has two children, a boy named Areen (born in 2003) and a baby boy born in March 2005.
In 2002, she starred in DEVDAS, with Shahrukh Khan and Miss World 1994 Aishwarya Rai. Madhuri Dixit was applauded for her superb acting in the film. The film attracted worldwide attention and was featured at the Cannes Film Festival.
Madhuri Dixit was the muse and sometime model for well-known Indian painter M.F. Hussain. She also appeared in his film Gaja Gamini (2000).She has won four Filmfare Awards for Best Actress, as well as a Best Actress in a Supporting Role award for her work in the 2002 film Devdas. Diana Mariam Kurien born in 1984 in Kerala, India), popularly known as Nayanthara meaning "Eyes like Stars", is a south Indian actress and has acted in Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam movies. Nayantara has completed her BA Literature. She got an offer to act in a Malayalam film "Manasinakkare" directed by Sathyan Anthikkad in which she paired opposite to Jayaram. The film was a great hit in Kerala. This paved the way for her entry into Tamil Cinema. She is a self confident person and is always found calm. Her hobbies are reading books and listening to music. Her favorite color is Black. She loves North Indian and chinese cuisines. She is comfortable working with all the heroes and fully involves herself in whatever role she does and this obviously is the reason for her success in the field.

Career

She was born as a Syrian Malabar Christian in Tiruvalla, Pathanamthitta District, Kerala. She did schooling from North India (Delhi, Bombay, Calcutta, Punjab and Karnataka)as her father was an Air Force Official. She joined Balikamadom High School, Thiruvalla for +2, and then joined Marthoma College in Thiruvalla for her bachelor’s degree (English Literature). She became interested in acting after getting good exposure from college. She admits herself that the encouragement her friend Mahesh Kadammanitta gave, helped her a lot to improve. While at college, she was chosen by director Satyan Anthikkad and was cast opposite Jayaram in Mansinakkare. After that, she played a ghost who falls in love with the hero Mohanlal in Fazil's Vismayathumbathu. She played opposite Sarath Kumar in Ayya. She acted with Rajnikanth in Chandramukhi. Her later films are Natturaajavu (Malayalam), Thaskaraveeran(Malayalam), Vallavan (Tamil), Gajini(Tamil), Yogi (Telugu) etc... She is now busy in Tamil & Telugu film industry. Thaks for wikipedia
